India getting frustrated with American silence of terror on India from Pakistan - CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat calls for UN Security Council action
Sonia Joshi
Jan. 3, 2009

India is getting disillusioned with American foreign policies in South Asia. All talk and no action is nothing new from the Americans as Pakistan continues to terrorize the Indian subcontinent for the last sixty years. For the last 55 years America always supported Pakistan.

Instead of giving the US evidence on the Mumbai terror attacks, India should approach the UN Security Council with it, CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat said on Saturday.

"Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, who is to leave for the US shortly with evidence of the Mumbai attacks, should go to the UN Security Council instead. There is a comprehensive resolution (No. 1373) on terrorism there," Karat said speaking at the 43rd anniversary celebrations of CPI(M) daily ''Ganashakti''.

"Instead, we are going to George W Bush and Condoleeza Rice of all the people who allowed Musharraf to spread terror and hide Bin Laden in Waziristan," he said.

Pakistan gets the audacity to live in the denial mode because they know America will allow them to do so as long as it is against India.
