Lets us send a message to Obama for betraying the base – boycott the corrupt and money centric inauguration
The proponent of biggest hope has brought biggest hopelessness in America. After eight years of George Bush, the common people wanted relief from fascism, bigotry, and total one-sided neo-con politics. People rallied for a relatively unknown leader, contributed each and every dollar they could save cutting down on essentials, worked relentlessly to campaign without anything in return. Now all of us find that Obama is just another agent of the neo cons eager to please the corrupt Clintons, ready to please the right wing neo con bigots by insulting the gays, lesbians, poor and downtrodden when required, eager to retain the war machine of George Bush, keep the same people who created the economic mess in place to guide the economy forward, aid unjustified illegal immigration, continue shameless export of US jobs overseas to make rich richer in the name of globalization of trade and outsourcing, and allowing US corporations to defraud the economy and common people in the same of politics as usual.
The Obama inauguration is the world’s most shameless mockery of democracy. It is for the rich, of the rich, and by the rich. It is corrupt and money centric. Boycott the inauguration to send a strong message to Obama – enough is enough.
Where Obama failed is to be able rally the common people to bring about a new hope and light in America. Winning an election in America required making and keeping the rich and elite happy. Keeping American democracy in tact required the support of common people. Obama is in bed with the same elite and rich that George Bush was with. It earned George Bush ‘shoes thrown at him’ in the public. Unless Obama disassociate from the corrupt rich and elite and serve the common people, it will earn him millions of shoes – this time not in Iraq, right here in the United States.
