More than twenty Maoists killed in massive offensive in Nepal - political grilling continues
According to reports from Nepal, the Army has undertaken a massive operation against the Maoists in Nepal. Atleast twenty or more Maoists are dead.
Unconfirmed sources pointed out, Government forces also had some casualties.
The Nepal Army said in a statement that they have killed at least nine Maoists in the last one month.
The country as well as the whole world is upset with King unilateral firing of the Government and dismissing constitutional democracy in Nepal.
The Maoists are also claiming victory and is calling for a 11 day strike starting April 2. They plan to attack Government infrastructures, blockade cities and cause havoc. They want to establish a Maoist Communist country.
In the mean time the King has created a commission to stop political corruption. The commission claims that former political leaders and ministers distributed contracts and money to their supporters. The commission is in the process of grilling ex-ministers for unveiling corruption.
