India starts building Aircraft Carriers

India will start building sophisticated Aircraft Carrier to match other major Navy fleets in the World. India will build the first aircraft carrier with the help from Italian firm Fincanteri, Indian Naval Vice Admiral Yashwant Prashad said on 22nd March.. The 37,500 ton ship, valued at $700 million, is expected to be ready for operation by 2012.
India plans to move ahead with a plan to build a series of Aircraft Careers in the coming years.
