How much is Congress party willing to pay MPs to refrain from voting? Can Manmohan and Bush buy one billion Indians in India and abroad they are not that rich
The price for the India-US nuclear deal is hefty. The fun has just started. $7 million for voting for UPA and $1 million for abstaining are the Delhi main street market rumors that are being offered to the former NDA coalition alliance.
All on a sudden certain MPs are ready to go against their own parties. Former union IT minister and DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran announced on Monday night that he would abstain during the crucial confidence vote in parliament on July 22.
The bespectacled former minister and Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi's estranged grandnephew issued a statement late in the night refuting rumors that he would vote against the United Progressive Alliance (UPA), and said, "I will rather abstain."
Rumor zone says Marxists are keeping their MPs are house arrest till they deliver the vote against UPA.
If the rumors are true, does Bush or Manmohan Singh have access to enough cash to buy out one billion Indians? If not what is the use? The cat is out of the bag. The MPs who take the money is doomed for life as slave of Sonia Gandhi. Their political career ends. But can Manmohan Singh really buy the Indian democracy?
Well, definitely the attempts will be made. But at the end, the MPs will decide if $1 million or $7 million is worth in voting for or against the trust vote. Let us not make one mistake, there are some who genuinely believe India and US should have a nuclear deal. But the issue is should it be when George Bush is in power? How can this Indian Government want the nuclear deal after denouncing American possible attack on Iran?
Manmohan Singh should choose a side America or no America! These Indian politicians should not use America for money and glamour. POLITICAL ARTICLES
