Based on Indian intelligence, Indian Army women team’s Mount Everest expedition takes a steeper trekking route though Tibet to avoid Maoists in Nepal
Indian intelligence at the last moment was able to divert two Indian Army expeditionary teams from Nepal to Tibet in their conquest of Everest. The Tibet route is steeper and difficult to trek.
