Clinton and Bush Administration knew all along that Musharraf with the help of Khan provided centrifuges to North Korea in a 2000 shipment
The disgraced architect of Pakistan's nuclear program is ready to talk and that can be really embarrassing for the Clinton and Bush Administration. According to Abdul Qadeer Khan it was Pakistani General Musharraf who supervised the transfer of technologies and the Americans knew that very well all along.
Abdul Qadeer Khan, who remains a national hero despite confessing four years ago to heading a clandestine proliferation network, told The Associated Press in a telephone interview that the uranium enrichment equipment was sent from Pakistan in a North Korean plane that was loaded under the supervision of Pakistani security officials.
Musharraf supervised the transfer of nukes and provided the full security for the same. In exchange Pakistan received missiles technology from the North Koreans.
Some international think tanks believe, Khan will ultimately divulge that Pakistan received the nuclear technologies from China who wanted Pakistan as first line of offense against the Indians. The deal was simple. Pakistan had to agree to transfer the technologies to North Korea, China’s closet ally at that time.
The changing story of Khan is interesting. It exposes Musharraf and the Clinton as well as the Bush Administration. His claims contradict his 2004 confession that he was solely responsible for spreading nuclear technology to Iran, North Korea, Libya and other countries.
