China may have to show the world of its mini nukes capabilities in cleaning up a landslide-dammed river caused by this month's devastating earthquake.

Chinese authorities are concerned the swelling lake will burst as water from the Jianhe river in Beichuan county in China's southwestern Sichuan province rises behind the earthquake-created dam, the Xinhua news agency reported. Chinese military engineers are prepared to dynamite a potentially dangerous "quake lake" created when landslides dammed a river after this month's earthquake in which more than 65,000 people were killed, state-run media reported Monday.

However, sources within China point to apparent failure opf the military engineers in trying to unclog the riverway. The dynamites are not working. The engineers are running out of time. The spill over of the natuarl dam can be devatating.

China may be the forst country to use nuclear bomb for the peaceful purposer. In their arsenal they have ‘mini-nukes that can be well targeted and the radioactivity contained.’

More than 30 of the so-called quake lakes were created by the 7.9-magnitude quake that devastated the region on May 12. The biggest ganger is coming from the aftershocks. The land mass is unstable around the the Jianhe river in Beichuan county in China's southwestern Sichuan province. The mini-nukes can very well demonstrate its targeting capabilities.
