Chinese mountaineers ready to take the Olympic torch to the top of the Mount Everest, Tibetan activists ready to confront them at the peak

A major show of force can take place right at the top of Mount Everest. The Tibetan activists are secretly moving ion from the India-Nepal side to snatch the Olympic torch from the Chinese setting a drama on the heavens.

There is no word on the location of the torch, which mountaineers on the 31-member climbing team would go to the summit, their whereabouts and when they would scale the peak. The Website of ''Beijing Daily'' likened the lack of information to a "mysterious veil that has surrounded base camp".

The Tibetan activists are watching the drama as they get ready to confront China right at the peak of Mount Everest. The plan is to snatch the torch in a major confrontation right on top 8850-meter summit.

Some media reports had speculated that the climb could come as early as Wednesday - the 100-day countdown to the August 8-24 games - or Thursday - the May Day holiday.
