Some senior Democratic leaders are already talking to black leaders secretly what can be offered in exchange for Hillary Clinton in the front of the ticket. It will be the black leadership that will have to approve the grand sacrifice of the humane side of the Democratic Party – presidential ambition of Obama.

It is a two prong strategy. Make Obama so much damaged so that he just cannot compete with McCain. Rag the race to August so that he does not have time to heal. At that point of time offer him the VP nomination. If he takes it good. Else damage him silently so that he looses landslide against McCain making way for the Clintons in 2012.

Major Democratic leadership is behind this conspiracy. They want cut the deal behind the scene so that common party activists never understand what really happened behind the scene.

The biggest wild card is what will Obama do? Does he even know that this conspiracy is cooking behind the scene? Some of the leadership worries what if decides to form his own party and run independent with Michael Bloomberg as VP?

That is the reason why the Democrat establishment wants to drag the race t o the convention.
