India converts Olympic torch relay into a war zone - Hundreds of Tibetans take out a parallel torch relay run in New Delhi
Tara Mahoni
Apr. 17, 2008

It is a war zone. It seems china has attacked New Delhi and the security forces are on extreme alert with thousands trying to protect the Olympic torch relay. In the mean time Tibetans took out a parallel torch relay run in the national capital, coinciding with the Olympic flame event.

The Tibetans have assured new Delhi that they will not attack the torch of China Olympics. However they will make sure that their own Tibetan torch that signifies the freedom of Tibet and humanity keeps burning till the illegal occupation of Tibet ends. The torch will burn till Chinese oppressors leave Tibet unconditionally.

While Government of Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi converted the Indian Capital into a shameful fortress of military personnel to protect Chinese injustice on Tibet, large number of monks attired in traditional red robes, women and children besides spiritual leader Swami Agnivesh and actor- turned activist Nafisa Ali participated in the Tibetan rally.

When will America and India wake up? When will Indian and American hypocrisy over Tibet end? When will China vacate the illegal occupation of Tibet? When will Dalai Lama and his followers in Tibet get their dignity? When will Chinese racism and apartheid on Tibet end?
