Chinese communist government exposed in a an official news briefing at a temple in Lhasa - the free world should boycott Chinese olympics
Kirt Meham
Mar. 27, 2008

It was the biggest embarrassment of a government in the recent history. The Chinese authorities were caught red handed lying to the world. Chinese government brought a select group of foreign reporters to Lhasa for a stage-managed tour of the city to demonstrate that stability has been restored since violence broke out on March 14.

Tibetan monks disrupted an official news briefing at the temple in Lhasa on Thursday, shouting that Chinese authorities were lying about unrest in the Himalayan region. The media and all dignitaries were shocked from the bottom of the heart at the audacity of the Chinese communists who were lying outright to the world.

"About 30 young monks burst into the official briefing, shouting: ''Don''t believe them. They are tricking you. They are telling lies''," USA Today Beijing-based reporter Callum MacLeod said by telephone from Lhasa.

’They just don''t believe us. They think we will come out and cause havoc -- smash, destroy, rob, burn. We didn''t do anything like that -- they''re falsely accusing us,’ said one monk. ‘We want freedom. They have detained lamas and normal people.’
