It was interesting to observe a superpower crush a small regional power like Iraq and bring down the dictator Saddam – the butcher of Baghdad.

Chinese atrocities are far worse in Tibet than Saddam in Iraq. It is continuing for almost half a century. Americans talk a lot but shies away from doing anything about it.

As a matter of fact American corporation these days plant to make big bucks selling to Chinese population bases. They use cheap Chinese labor force to produce low quality products and make a big margin by selling in US markets earning US Dollars.

America has created the new wealthy Asian budding superpower China. Interestingly Nancy Pelosi like many other American leaders recently met with Dalai Lama – the spiritual leader of Tibet. Talks are abundant from Americans with little courageous actions that follow over the last fifty years.

But a bigger question looms in the world affairs. Does America have the courage and determination to liberate Tibet? Is the superpower just about bullying small rats like Saddam and that too with great difficulty?

Bush Administration’s inability to capture Osama Bin laden, and liberate Iraq and stabilize the nation quickly raises many questions. What was the main reason for going to Iraq? We know weapons of mass destruction were Collin Powell’s weapons of mass deception in United Nations. Al-Queda and Saddam hated each other.

For once the American power base should question its own real courage and determination. A war should have been executed with efficiency. Look at India. India executed a similar war with hardly $20 million dollars in 1971. They liberated Bangladesh from massive Pakistani Military that were raping thirteen year old girls and killing innocent people in the country. Indian military went in, liberated the country, took 100,000 Pakistani soldiers (thugs really!) prisoners, handed over the power to Bangladeshis and went back to India. The operation took hardly a few weeks. Bangladesh has more landmass than Iraq and 100 times more population. The terrain is not easy because massive rivers all across the country.

Can America liberate Tibet ever? The counter question will be how much money can America gain from liberating Tibet? That is what has caused the Iraq war. That is what the problem is with American neo con right wing politicians. They equate everything with racial supremacy, and money. The main reason for Iraq war is becoming transparent now. It was about rewarding Bush-Chenny political contributors with contracts (hundreds of billions of dollars) that lacked bidding proves. It was a virtual loot by a select group of neo con right wing Americans.

Look what happened to the looted money from American tax payers that Bush Administration spent in Iraq in giving out contracts to its friends and political contributors! These incompetent people invested the same in subprime mortgage trying to make it even bigger. The whole things collapsed into a financial meltdown.
