China shamefully occupies Tibet. Tibetans wants their own country just like Taiwanese do not want Chinese domination. The recent up rise is not a Dalai Lama effect. It is a natural spontaneous Tibetan urge of self rule.

Chinese Olympics game is a major setback for humanity. China has said that the torch relay for the 2008 Olympics will go to Tibet as planned despite the unrest in the region. Taking the torch relay for the 2008 Olympics will go to Chinese occupied Tibet is a direct insult to all Tibetans and humanity.

The countries that participate in Chinese Olympics will insult every peace loving Tibetans. Yes, Chinese cheap labor has made American and European corporations rich at the cost of the middle class in those countries. Yes, Chinese oil purchases have made Russia stronger. Yes, Chinese nukes and missile technology has given a blackmailing capability to rouge states like Pakistan and North Korea.

But no country should forget that it is humanity that will be hurt if any athlete goes to China till China leaves Tibet unconditionally and recognized Taiwan. China should also move out from illegally occupied Indian territories.
