Jammu and Kashmir Governor S.K.Sinha has sent two protest letters to the central government in New Delhi accusing the Jammu and Kashmir state government headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad of being "communally biased" in hindering efforts to construct the road leading to Amarnath Shrine.
The state government is persistent in raising objections on the ecological grounds. The objections are questionable and according to Jammau and Kasmir Governor is biased against Hindus.
Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) headed by the Governor has sought their intervention in securing administrative approval for raising constructions enroute the Amarnath cave shrine.
Governor has expressed strong reservations over the manner in which the state government has been neglecting the requirements of the SASB and resorting to delaying tactics.
