Nina Shankaran
Mar. 12, 2008

The bloodshed in Kannur, Kerala continues as atrocities by the Marxists escalate. Manmohan Singh Government needs Marxists support. So he is eager not to send additional security forces to keep his communist allies happy.

Parliament on Wednesday was rocked by incidents of violence in Kerala leading to adjournment of both Houses. BJP members demanded the suspension of Question Hour to take up the issue of violence in Kerala where the saffron party and Left parties are fighting pitch battle.

Trouble broke out in the Rajya Sabha during Zero Hour when senior BJP member M Venkaiah Naidu sought to raise the issue but was disallowed by the Chair. This led to chaotic situation in both the houses of the Parliament.
