While Indian richest industrialists are on top in Forbes list, 70% children in India are anaemic

It is the biggest mockery of democracy. The Indian oligarchs scored top positions in Forbes list of richest billionaires. At the same time, Health and Family Welfare Minister Anbumani Ramadoss told Lok Sabha on Wednesday that 69.5 percent of children in the age group of six to 59 months are suffering from anaemia of which 63 percent are in the urban areas and 71.5 percent in the rural areas.
This shows the gap between the rich and poor in India. The country calls itself a democracy but in reality it is the biggest oligarchy in the world.
Anaemia is a multifaceted problem. The important reasons for widespread anaemia are inadequate intake and absorption of iron from cereal based diet, inadequate consumption of green leafy vegetables and citrus fruits," Indian Minister of Health and Family Welfare says.
According to media reports, India's Anil Ambani has emerged as the biggest wealth creator, while famed American investor Warren Buffett has overtaken software king Bill Gates and Mexican tycoon Carlos Slim to lead the list of world's richest people released by Forbes on Thursday.
four Indians -- steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal, Mukesh Ambani, his estranged younger brother Anil and realty baron K P Singh -- have made it to top 10 positions, as against just one, Mittal, a year ago.
At the same time malnutrition for Indian children have skyrocketed at the same time.
