Democrat politicians who supported Hillary Clinton are now marked as ‘special interest driven'' politicians
Smitha Malini
Feb. 22, 2008

Interestingly, the Obama-Clinton race has exposed career politician Democrats that are close to lobbyists and gain from special interest influence in Washington.

The Clintons are well known for their close proximity to Washington lobbyists and special interest entities. Those who supported Clinton, no matter how progressive they are also marked as of the same type. The politics in America has changed all on a sudden. Not necessarily the left of the country will win in the future. The Iraq war has showed that incompetent people have become career politician and are leading the country into disaster. The concept of Change is simple. Bring common sense, honesty, true patriotism and above all competence back. Failed businessmen and lawyers cannot lead the country. These icons of failures (the career politicians) easily become pray to special interest entities.

Prominent NY and NJ Democrats are now in deep trouble. Focus is on politician like Charles Rangel, Robert Menendez, and Chuck Schumer. They are great in their own contituencies. But how close are they to special interest entities? Why did they support Hillary Clinton? Why were they so sure Clintons will win again? How much money do they take from the lobbyists? How many useless pork barrel projects have they sponsored?

These career politicains started supporting Clintons many months before. At that time the concept of ‘change’ was not there. It was pressumed tbat politics as usual will put Queen Hillary in power. The assumptions by these Democrats were that lobbyists money and as usual spins will do the trick again.

Now these politicians are embarassed. But more importantly, they are exposed. They will have to fight to protect the political careers in upcoming elections. They can win but the scar mark will never go.
