India must address the issue of Hindi oligarchs and Hindi workers who displaces natives of Maharashtra, Bengal, Assam and other non-Hindi states

Feb. 12, 2008
How would people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh feel if people from neighboring Nepal would come to their towns, displace the natives from their livelihood, and control the big businesses?
For long, Indian Government has patched up local areas of discontent and desire to secede from the nation. The root cause is the Hindi oligarchs. The Birlas, the Ambanis, the Modis.... the list goes on and on. Tata and another 100 Hindi oligarch families in India control the country economically, politically, and socially.
India Inc. the new Indian business culture is based on enhancing the financial and political powers of these handful oligarchs. These oligarchs control all the political parties and the Government infrastructure. They can call on the finance ministry to manipulate the fiscal measures that favor them.
In West Bengal, we saw how the communists and the oligarchs work together to snatch lands of poor farmers and kill them mercilessly.
Southern India is somewhat safe from these Hindi oligarchs because for many years the Southern India stood against Hindi language, culture, and the oligarchs.
India must protect the interest of natives in Kashmir, Jammu, Assam. Orissa, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Meghalaya, Manipur, and other non-Hindi speaking states.
What is happening in Maharashtra will happen elsewhere unless the Central Government of India can take appropriate steps.
