Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi's naivety has cornered India into isolation on nuclear proliferation and use
Parth Sharma
Feb. 3, 2008

Foreign affairs minister Pranab Mukherjee is right. "If the agreement is not through, we could have to face isolation and possibly isolation in sanction too," External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said inaugurating the 176th Annual General Meeting of the Calcutta Chamber of Commerce in Kolkata.

Congress Party finally confessed that it misled India into a corner where possible isolation can be humiliating at the least. It was the inexperience of Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh that led to the disaster. They have no business in swallowing the American bate. Now India (the fish) is struggling to get out of the nuisance that jeopardizes its nuclear freedom.

They never looked into shrewd American proposals. They never understood the American laws that were enforced into the throat of India.

Mr. Mukherjee said the agreements on civil nuclear cooperation with various countries would in particular "help in increasing the share of civil nuclear power in our energy mix" and ensure energy security.

"My ministry is aware of these challenges and are making all attempts by focusing on bilateral and multilateral engagements for cooperation with source countries," he said.

He had forgotten one thing; India is a future super power. India's nuclear freedom and advancements in space technologies will make India the superpower- not those outsourcing contracts from America and Europe.
