India showcases Military might on Republic Day but the nation is still endangered by secret operations of Pakistani ISI and sleeping terror cells

Jan. 26, 2008

India showed of its Military might on the Republic Day. India proudly rolled out its military hardware – mostly of Russian in origin as Moscow is still India's biggest military supplier.
.23-million strong military is the cornerstone of the Indian Military might. India is the biggest arms buyer among emerging nations. New Delhi showcased its latest military hardware including nuclear-capable missiles.
International think tanks watched the great nation show its conventional military might. But there are visible holes in the nation’s security and defense infrastructure. Most of the military hardware are designed to fight a war with Pakistan. Pakistan is still an adversary but its wages a different kind of warfare against India.
Pakistan is keeping a nice relationship on the surface while expanding its dangerous ISI network and sleeping terror cells within India. Indian population distribution is such that it is very easy to create and hide sleeping cells.
India’s vulnerability comes from these terror networks and sleeping cells. The military is not equipped with handling a full scale covert war against India within India.
