Recent Avian Bird Flu a byproduct of germ warfare? What can terrorists do with it? Is there any extra-terrestrial connection?

Bird or Avian flu is an infection caused by avian influenza (flu) viruses. These flu viruses occur naturally among wild and domesticated birds.

The Type A influenza viruses can infect several animal species, including birds, pigs, horses, seals and whales.

Normally humans are not directly infected. However if this form of virus is reengineered, a specimen can be created that can make humans totally helpless.

Many biotechnologists and genetic engineers worry that many countries are secretly working on germ warfare and trying to reengineer the bird flu to wipe out the enemy in no time.

Influenza A viruses can be divided into subtypes on the basis of their surface proteins and hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA). There are 15 known H subtypes. While all subtypes can be found in birds, only 3 sub-types of HA (H1, H2 and H3) and two subtypes of NA (N1 and N2) are known to have circulated widely in humans.

The reported symptoms of avian influenza in humans have ranged from typical influenza-like symptoms (e.g., fever, cough, sore throat and muscle aches) to eye infections, pneumonia, acute respiratory distress, viral pneumonia, and other severe and life-threatening complications.

Studies to date suggest that the prescription medications approved for human influenza strains would be effective in preventing avian influenza infection in humans, however, sometimes flu strains can become resistant to these drugs and so they may not always be effective.

All influenza viruses can change. It is possible that an avian influenza virus could change so that it could infect humans and could spread easily from person to person. Because these viruses do not commonly infect humans, there is little or no immune protection against them in the human population. If an avian virus were able to infect people and gain the ability to spread easily from person to person,”influenza pandemic" could begin.

The scientists are worrying that reengineering of the virus can really be deadly for human civilization. If germ warfare breaks out, the Avian flu will be the most ghastly weapon.

Researchers are also worried about the terrorists getting hold of the same and trying to create a strain that cause problem for human civilization. For those terrorists who do not give a damn about their or their loved ones dying to kill those who they hate, this virus can be deadly.

While the whole world is busy dealing with terrorists in a conventional way, the terrorists may be planning something far more ghastly that we can think of.

Some in South East Asia also believe that the reason why it is not spreading yet as a pandemic is that World Health Organization is keeping a strict vigilance on the same.

There is also unconfirmed case of direct suspicion that the Avian Flu and all other similar strains were introduced on the earth by the extra-terrestrials as an experiment. They have the capability to contain the same at a very local level.

Many similar viruses have first shown sign of existence in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. It may be a coincidence or there may be a reason that the people in that region are especially susceptible to it.

Can a country in that region be experimenting the strain as a germ weapon? Some in that part of the world say the virus was created as a germ warfare mechanics. The creator organization has lost control over stopping the same.

It is possible that extra-terrestrials are fighting to stop the same and have contacted the countries that it originated from.
