The election commission in Pakistan have competed their work. Benazir Bhutto will be the new Prime Minister with decisively less than majority votes. The election in Pakistan is well crafted under the Musharraf. The emergency was put in pace right on time to complete the manipulation. The General has cut a deal with the western colonial powers to have Bhutto in power without giving her too much power.
"The elections will not be rigged and politicians should not pre-judge the entire exercise," Musharraf was quoted as saying by the Dawn newspaper. The fact is that it is alre4ady rigged to the fullest extent and need not be rigged any further.
The opposition parties have expressed apprehensions that the polls could be rigged. Former premier Benazir Bhutto, the leader of Pakistan people's party (PPP), claimed in media interviews that 108 out of a total 148 seats in the crucial Punjab province have already been given to the ruling PML-Q party, leaving only 40 seats to the opposition.
