America may be the root cause of undemocratic rise of Czar Putin in Russia

It is just a matter of time. Czar Putin of Russia will be celebrated soon as the dictator of Russia. People with some sense in Russia understand the pros and cons of Russian political alternatives. Communism dies because it was out of sync with time. Communism created a great power that could effectively fight against a much superior military machine called ‘Nazi Germany’ and defeat Hitler outright. But as Russia became more advanced, the need for communism disappeared. Russian communism died not because America won the cold war or former US President Ronald Reagan asked them to tear down the ‘Wall”. Communism died because it was not useful for Russians any more. Younger and prosperous Russians did not like communism.

Today Russia is formally a dictatorship or an official oligarch where a few run the country. If you have connections and power, you can get anything in Russia. If you do not and oppose the Government, the hell can come on you in no time. Russian chess grand super master, Garry Kasparov has defeated the world's greatest chess players and battled a supercomputer for supremacy. Now, he faces his toughest opponent, Russian President Vladimir Putin. Jailed for five days before Sunday's parliamentary elections, the brooding grandmaster has spent long hours plotting his moves and countermoves. The energetic 44-year-old Kasparov, whose political opposition party has been the most vocal against Putin's Kremlin, can hardly suppress his fury with the country's leadership.

The biggest question is what created this oligarch controlled disctatorship called Russia fully armed with nukes, chemical and biological weapon systems? For the answer, you have to look at the globe and understand the demographic shifts around the world. Russia is a huge land mass with least population density. The population of Russia is declining. In the middle of that America not only exposed the weakness of Russian communism, it has taken the advantage of a weaker Russia to surround it with challenging regimes and communities like Ukraine and Georgia. Russians are afraid of the long term consequence. As Bush Adminiostration plans to go ahead with the deployment of missiles in Eastern Europe in what Russia considers its own corridore, Russians see ‘Hitler” coming back. They get ready for the next round of ‘Stalingrad’ where the Russians crushed world’s most sophisticated Military by sheer will power.

Russia today is vibrant. It has oil and gas as resource. Perhaps in reality it is the most affluent country in the world. But mismanagement has created a less than affluent nation. People in Russia look at Putin as someone who can stand up against the American adventurism. Americans are guided by the handful oligrachs that never come in the front but get Clintons and Bushs elected to carry out their marching orders. American corporations control America – not Ameircan people. America turned into an oligrachy long before Russia did. Russians understand that. They want a strong Russia that can eventually fight the Eurpean and American plans of adventure in the Baltic. Putin is regarded as the best alternative who can bring prosperity in common people’s life and keep America at bay.

This is how disctatorships are created. Look at the whole scenario and you will understand how bad American foreign policy is. If America really belives in democracy and free world, it would not heve threatened Russia with ‘Ukraine’and ‘Georgia’.

The Russian dictatorship is the result of misguided policies of American oligarchs. It is the result of Russian desire to stand up against an offensive posture of United States.
