Russian election sets stage for Putin's United Russia party to win landslide – 30,000 former KGB officials to monitor poll in Russia – is the election a total farce?
Balaji Reddy
Dec. 1, 2007

It is sad that Russian President Vladimir Putin's party is headed for a landslide victory in an election that is definitely questionable and perhaps a farce.

Putin has widespread support no doubt but his party has used Russian administrative services quite a bit to raise the eyebrow of the beholder.

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) is the only potent party that can oppose the Putin's United Russia party. But the fight is a joke. Putin’s party will win landslide for reasons other than popularity.

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) has mobilized Thirty thousand former KGB officials and retired employees of the Soviet era law enforcement bodies. These pro-soviet observers will try an stop rigging of election.

The elections are not rigged these days. No one manipulates actual ballots. The manipulation of the election is already complete. In Western countries like America and Europe the election manipulations are done way before. Russia is no exceptions. The administrative procedures, brain washing of common people, the money needed to stage an effective campaign are all part of manipulation process.

Russian election is an administrative farce. No one actually take the ballots and stuff them into another box physically or capture the polling booths. The voting manipulations are complete administratively. The big problem of democracy is now exposed – the minorities have no say. The bigger problem is that the common people are portrayed as the minorities while oligarchs control the elections and win handsomely. That happens in Russsia and America. The process is no different. Otherwise Al Gore would not get Nobel Prize. It was the prize for keeping quit as the Supreme Court in America manipulated the Year 2000 election. Otherwise Putin will not win this Russian election in 2007.

It is the oligarchs, rich, powerful, and politically strong that control the world today. It is no different in China, Russia, America, Brazil, Germany, Japan or India.
