Confident India go into the second cricket one-dayer against arch-rivals Pakistan but the host team plans to counter with a strengthened pace attack and manipulation of the pitch
Ajit Parker
Nov. 7, 2007

The easy win of India has shaken up Pakistan cricket infrastructure. Indian is poised to totally outperform the arch rival Pakistan for the first time in the history.

Pakistan is taking counter measures by bringing in strengthened pace attack. There is another hidden factor that no one is watching. Pakistan may be in the process of tampering the game with manipulation of the pitch where Indian spinners will have no effects and at the same time Pakistani pacers will have aid from the pitch.

In a recent statement, the Pakistan coach Lawson says ‘We have our plans to counter the Indian spinners.’

India is looking carefully at these threats. Indian can win without the spinners too. The team is too strong and well balanced from all sides.
