Delhi International Airport Private Limited is determined to get a facelift for the international airport in New Delhi. They are renovating for a long time the adjacent waiting area for the international passengers. Now 15 leading Indian and foreign hotel and real estate chains are being considered to develop 45 acres of commercial land near the international terminal.
US-based Starwood, Delhi-based Claridges, European hotel chain Accor will build world class hotels next to the International Airport in New Delhi.
The only world-class hotel in that area (still several miles away) is the Radisson Inn. But the room rate sin that hotel is exorbitant. They provide native driver driven luxury foreign cars to bring passengers in and out of the hotel. They made to look alike a standard five star hotel in Middle East or the West.
