Oct. 27, 2007
Indian cricket has finally understood the real thing in a great cricket team. A continuous challenge from fresh new players steers the matured players towards excellence. Indian has dropped Rahul Dravid from the team and has recalled Sehwag in the team.
It shows that the selectors are not scared to drop world class players if they prove nonperformance by failing four or more matches consecutively.
India plans to go all out in Pakistan. The team is ready to take a less than impressive Pakistan for the first time and prove Indian cricket superiority. The performance hangs on the younger Indian T20 Team supported by big name cricketers like Saurav and Sachin.
Dhoni says his team is ready. Musharraf will wonder why Dhoni cut his hair in spite of his telling Dhoni ‘keep that hair’ last time India visited Pakistan.
The Indian team :
Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt), Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Murali Kartik, Zaheer Khan, R P Singh, Irfan Pathan, S Sreesanth and Praveen Kumar.
