Cheney makes it clear like Saddam in Iraq, Iran will not be allowed to have a nuclear weapon – Iran retaliates with words of war on ‘serious consequences’

U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney said Sunday that United States and the rest of the international community will not allow terror campaigning Iran to have nuclear weapons.

In a speech to the Washington Institute for Near East Studies, Cheney said ``Our country, and the entire international community, cannot stand by as a terror-supporting state fulfills its grandest ambitions.'''' Cheney threatened the Iranian Government that the Iran will face ‘serious consequences’ if it continues to pursue its nuclear ambition.

Sources from Iran reported that the Iranian Government in a statement said the Iran is ready to face that ‘serious consequences’.

The Iranian authorities took President George W. Bush’s warning that a nuclear Iran could lead to World War III lightly. The statement by Cheney made them serious about it.
