Tibet gets new focus as Bush gets ready to meet Dalai Lama and China plans to retaliate on that

China is up in arms in the fact that Dalai Lama is being welcomed in America for the highest civilian award.

Tibet has suffered enough in the hands of the Chinese. It is time to respect political and religious freedom in every part of the world. China has dominated Tibet. It has stripped Tibetans of their culture, political and religious freedom.

The western world has done very little to reverse this injustice. India has provided a fragile refuge to Tibetan desire of self-rule. The Chinese threatens India continuously. These days Indian leadership has moved away from the days when ‘Indian leaders used hold their ground based on their conviction.’ India under Sonia Gandhi is afraid to support Dalai lama openly.

America did the right thing. Dalai Lama represents Tibet. Tibet wants independence. No one in the world can stop freedom to take dominance over naked aggression and slavery. Tibet will be free one day.

China is upset with America for allowing Dalai Lama to receive the award and meet US President George Bush.

"We strongly urge the United States to correct the mistakes, cancel the relevant arrangements, and stop interfering in China's internal affairs by any means," Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said.

Dalai Lama receives a congressional Gold Medal and that according to China, "seriously violates the fundamental rules of international relations, hurts the Chinese people's feelings and grossly interferes in China's internal affairs."

Myanmar suffers from human right violation and so does Tibet. Something good is happening America. May be the day will come when Americans will again champion freedom and protection of human rights.
