Aussies lose by 8 runs in fourth one-day cricket international – Ponting new tactics did not work
Ajit Parker
Oct. 8, 2007

Yuvi was fine. So was the Indian cricket team. India was able to shut Ponting up with a thrilling eight run victory.

India was all out 291 for 4 in 50 overs (S Ganguly 41, Tendulkar 79, Yuvraj Singh 39, M Dhoni 50 not out, R Uthappa 30 not out)

Australia stacked up 283 for seven in 50 overs (M Hayden 92, A Symonds 76; H Singh 2-43).

Indian bowling and fielding for the first time could stop Ponting’s run getting machine.
