The US economy is not headed for recession. As a matter of fact the financial talk show hosts and the Wall Street Gurus see the economy never so good. They may be right based on what they see in the Government’s published reports.
But not every thing is so bright. The number home foreclosures are rising exponentially. In addition, hunger among children going up and number of homeless families on the rise. The rich and powerful fight every means to maintain their tax cuts. People invested in stock market are worried what Hillary will do t their 15% capital gains tax but in the mean time the lowest bottom of the economic structure is crumbling.
According to Pat Eton-Robb, Associated Press Writer, ‘Data from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development suggests there about 750,000 homeless in the nation on any given night, with about 40 percent of those members of homeless families, said Philip Mangano, director of the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness. The overall number of homeless people is up from a few years ago….’
Other sources point out that children are worst affected from foreclosures, lack of medical help and hunger.
