VIP treatment of Sanjay Dutt in Jammu shows the corruption level in Indian security and judicial system

The cops ‘thought’ Sanjay Dutt’s sister, Congress Party Member of the Parliament Priya Dutt, was accompanying her. She never did. But Indian security system instead of hugging Sanju, gave him a VIP car with full police escort suggesting he comes from a protected family.

Shame on the cops who broke the law in trying to oblige a possible criminal who is about to get away because of his political influence in India’s Congress Party, and his celebrity status.

The state Hospitality and Protocol Department claimed it had no knowledge of the “VIP treatment” extended to the actor - recently convicted and given six years by the Special TADA Court hearing the Mumbai blasts case. “We have no knowledge about him being given an official vehicle,” said Shoba Ram, Director of the Department.

But it happened. Senior Superintendent of Police (Security) A. S. Bali admitted that his department had provided the Ambassador car and the escort came from the Police Control Room. “We have to provide him security as Sanjay Dutt comes from a protected family. His late father Sunil Dutt was an MP, while his sister Priya Dutt is a sitting Congress parliamentarian from Mumbai,” he said.

This is India under the rule of the Congress Party! The common people are dumped as street dogs. The celebrities and people with political influence get VIP treatment even if they are criminals.
