Ahead of the debate in Parliament, Sonia Gandhi also told party men in the letter that throughout the negotiations with the US, Parliament, UPA allies, Left parties, and the Opposition parties have been ''kept informed''.

She is all excited about the nuke deal. But she does not say why Congress party was hiding facts about America's Hyde Act.

Lack of transparency has made a mess for Indian political structure.

It is true that America now wants India as a true friend after abusing India for decades. It is true India always wanted America as friend. But since the assassination of John F Kennedy, India got nothing from America except occasional American military support for hostile Pakistan.

PM Manmohan Singh is an economist. The world is not all about money and material prosperity. If India becomes a slave nation under the America especially the right wing of America governed by American Corporations, yes, India will get some prosperity.

The question is - do you want to be a free bird or a bird in the cage? A bird in the cage gets all food treats but is a slave of time till death. A free bird is really free but it has to find its own food and is always in danger of being attacked by a predator.

The question is simple - will India become the housedog of George Bush's America?
