The first woman president of India is submerged with controversies in murder, stealing, and embezzlement of funds – the legacy of Sonia Gandhi
India has its first woman President. It is great news. But the way that the new president was selected is shameful. Prativa Patil is submerged with controversies in murder, stealing, and embezzlement of funds. This is the legacy of Italian born Sonia Gandhi who has run the Government behind the curtain as the Roman Empress of India.
What is more shameful is the congress party and communists of India joined hands to bring controversy in the highest ceremonial position of India. Abdul Kalam showed the world what India stands for. Prativa Patil shows what India does not stand for.
BJP and its allied must be ashamed too. They could not bring forward one single candidate to challenge this hand picked fiasco of Sonia Gandhi. Shame of Shiv Sena who went along with the Congress Party just because Prativa Patil is a Maharashtrian.
The communists in India now have chosen the path of cooperating with the Indian oligarchs. They like what they see in the UPA Government – a regime of total corruption. The common people of India stare at these politicians to find India run as a business enterprise with Congress Party, its satellite parties and the communists gaining from large profits.
There could have been a better choice in Indian Presidential election. In India, the President is chosen by the members of the Parliament – not by the common people of India. These members of the Parliament were chosen Indian common people many years ago. Today in a fair election where ‘People of India’ can choose their president, a far better candidate would have won.
It is time for people of India to rise and challenge the constitution. The democracy does not guarantee Sonia Gandhi’s dictatorship and putting controversial puppets in the top positions. Democracy guarantees common people’s choice.
