Yes, you can laugh at this article of mine. As a correspondent my work is to present the facts. Current US President George Bush has performed fantastically in his office. If he and Vice President Cheney were not there, the world will be different now.

No matter what you think about Iraq, he took the war to them instead allowing the extremists to bring the same to United States. Al-Queda does not dare ‘tickle’ America any more. They understand the depth, the resolution and extend of this super power.

The fact, there has been no serious terror attacks in America for the last six years, that tells it all. American military infrastructure has brought democracy in Iraq – unimaginable by any standard. Iraq has problems. But so do any of the Middle Eastern countries.

George Bush’s great accomplishment comes from the tax cuts he championed. The unemployment is low. The stock market is making new high. The GDP is strong. Even the real estate prices are far higher that what it was in year 2000.

In the international arena, he has brought the North Koreans to a state where they themselves are pleading for nuclear disarmament. The Iranians realize they cannot maneuver too much in their small space.

The biggest achievement was to bring Pakistan a nuclear power out from the clutch of the Al-Queda and Talibans. President Bush’s astute foreign policy secured the Pakistani nukes from getting into the Islamic extremists.

His vision for the alternative fuels and his leadership in that area are well noted. Ten years from today, when you drive the hydrogen fuel cell driven cars with zero emission, you start thanking this great American President.

He championed the notion of free enterprise. He extended that notion into the international trade. He allowed countries to excel in what they do. The concept comes from his deep understanding of business. He championed the notion of outsourcing.

As for immigration, he presented some practical remedies that the Congress failed to realize. His compassion for the migrant workers across the borders will be remembered by millions.
