American far right realizes Putin is no Saudi king – Putin maintains his stance while hoping for better relations

It was a great attempt by the Bush family to convince the last hurdle of the American far right. But Putin did not blink. The whole world was watching Putin as he went ‘fishing with the Bush family.
Putin showed that he is far shrewder in politics than US President George Bush. But one thing is not clear. Why did Putin go to America? What is Russia afraid of?
President Vladimir Putin, in a statement on Wednesday marking U.S. Independence Day, said he was certain that relations between Russia and the United States would progress despite disagreements. That was a clever political statement.
Tension between Washington and Moscow has been growing. The United States has accused Russia of backing away from democratic reforms, and the Kremlin vehemently objects to U.S. plans to deploy elements of a missile-defense system in former Soviet Bloc countries.
International think tanks believe Putin wants a better trade relation with America. However, it cannot come at the expense of the Russian strategic needs.
Unlike the Saudi Kings and their followers, Putin walked the turf of the Bush family, smiled and said ‘we can be friends as long as we realize the strategic needs of each other.’
Russia believes American democracy to be a joke. America is concerned about Russian political systems that is transforming into a dictatorship.
