Wall Street Journal goes right wing the Fox way? Murdoch happy with Dow Jones talk
Neal Vansali
Jun. 5, 2007

Well, independent financial journalism may be a past thing for the Wall Street Journal as Rupert Murdoch gets ready to create another right wing ''fox'' out of Wall Street Journal.

The biggest question is if the five billion dollars from Rupert Murdoch will convert the respected Wall Street journal into a right wing ''Fox'' type right wing propaganda machine?

According to sources, Murdoch and his son James, met key members of the Bancroft family, which in total holds 64 percent of the voting power in Dow Jones, for the first time in New York.

The Bancroft family wants to ensure that Mr. Murdock does not do what he did in other cases. The deal is far from being signed. The meeting was cordial. But the Bancroft family was suspicious of Mr. Murdock and his son.
