An embarrassing setback for Bush Administration - Guantánamo charges thrown out by US court

Omar Khadr, a 20-year-old Canadian who has been held at Guantánamo for five years has started thinking about life again. The newly constituted Guantánamo commission threw out all the charges.
Charges against Salim Ahmed Hamdan, a former driver for Osama bin Laden was also thrown out.
It is an embarrassing setback for Bush Administration. The US military commissions’ did not agree to oblige the Bush Administration in considering the charges any worth.
According to US Supreme Court, Bush administration breached US law and the Geneva Conventions in setting up military tribunals. After that ruling from US Supreme Court, the US Congress authorized the commissions to try Guantánamo prisoners.
The whole world was looking at the Americans. The ball is in the court of the Bush Administration for the next step.
