Siddhartha Adhikari
May 30, 2007

Reservation on the basis of castes in 21st century India is the greatest curse of independent India. The reservation if any should on the basis of economically backwards. This has been accepted by all sectors of people in Uttar Pradesh and resulted to Mayavati's victory. The other Political parties of India should take a lesson and change their views regarding reservation. The reservations since the formation of Indian republic has not helped the scheduled castes/tribes till date, otherwise they need not have the same reservation after 57 years.
