It is time for India’s common people to declare a fatwa against Kashmir’s Grand Mufti Mufti Muhammad Bashir-ud-Din
A fatwa against the Indian Army? What an audacity? Well in a democratic country like India, everything goes. The Kashmiri cleric has a right to do anything that is not violent and terrorism.
But India’s common people have a right to declare a nationwide Fatwa of giving any money to this cleric of Jammu and Kashmir. The Fatwa can be simple – any one who pays any money directly or indirectly is an anti Indian and must be treated as an act of treason.
The Army on Wednesday expressed surprise at the edict issued by Jammu and Kashmir’s Grand Mufti Mufti Muhammad Bashir-ud-Din against accepting money or help from the Army in rebuilding mosques and shrines.
Defense sources said that the Army has been building mosques all over the country and no one so far, has ever questioned it.
Sources also expressed surprise at the timing of the fatwa as the initiative had begun three years ago.
It is easy to declare fatwas. It is easy brainwash people in the name of God but it not easy stand up the mass retaliation that can emerge from such actions.
Enough is enough. It is time for Indian people to confront these Kashimiri separatists. Kashmir is an integral part of India and will remain the same forever. If that means every Indian will have sacrifice their life, so be it. It is time to support our Jawans. It is time to tell these coward terrorists, enough is enough.
