Tapping the Internet and relocation market in selling your home in difficult times – here are some tips

It is a difficult time for the home sellers.  The realtors are not letting the how owners get out of the selling contracts.  They are forcing homeowners to reduce prices slowly but steadily.  Here are some tips what you can do:

  1. Try to sell without a broker and offer the savings to the buyer in closing cost incentives.
  2. It is very important to tap the relocation market through the Internet.
  3. It is equally important to use the Internet to sell your home.
  4. List your home in as many Internet sites with videos, sound effects and so on as possible.
  5. Try to contact some of the Real Estate Internet sites and have them write an article on your property.
  6. Work it out with lenders that can provide attractive mortgages.
    Get you’re home inspected and provide proof of clean inspection to buyers.
  7. Negotiate with your local township tax assessor and try to lower your property tax.  Buyers love lower tax.  Tell them you were able to lower the property tax.
  8. Take a home equity loan, if possible, and provide further incentives to the buyers.
  9. Create your own open house, provide excellent snacks, and send a letter to local realtors. Create an excellent perception.
  10. Provide extra cash incentives to realtors who can bring buyers for your property.
  11. Make sure your property is well landscaped and the lawn is in great condition.
  12. Be astute and flexible in your negotiations with the buyer.
