Corruptions and scandals looms on Wall Street as Dow completes its upward journey - HP, Sun, and Accenture accused of bribing to obtain Government contracts
Sam Adelton
Apr. 20, 2007
The corruption in the corporations has reached limits never breached before. The corporations starting from oil companies to technology giants are doing everything possible to obtain Government contracts. The Justice Department on Thursday accused Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems and Accentor of paying and receiving millions of dollars in kickbacks from their business partners to influence the procurement of lucrative government technology contracts.
This is just tip of the iceberg. The corruption levels in corporate Board Rooms are so high that Soviet Polibureau of eighties can take a lesson from them. These corporate officers have done all they can to snatch Government Technology contracts by hook or crook.
The effect on the overall stock market is very significant. The corruption levels once exposed will not only crash Dow and Technology Stocks but also will create havoc in the economy.
