Alan Hershey
Apr. 2, 2007

The ISM Price index is dropping slowly but steadily. While consumer price index and producer price index shows signs of mild inflation, the price deflator and ISM Price index are showing ample sign of soft trend in prices. The biggest drop in prices is happening in the tech sector. The wage inflation is nonexistent after a straight sixth year of price expansion.

The slow and steady drop in ISM Prices confirms deflation. The deflation is manifested by the inability of the corporations to price their products and services. The malls run on discounts. The service sector now is also subject to deflation. The couriers face severe competition. The health care and insurance sectors are also severely affected.

The dollar may suffer severe setback from the price weakness and possibility of an economic recession. The worst affected will be stock market
