The scandal of manipulating books and corrupts corporate accounting practices willhaunt Wall Street in the next several years. Dell found evidence of misconduct following an internal probe of its accounting practices. The PC maker stressed that the inquiry isn''t complete and said it will delay filing its annual report.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Do not get surprised to see many companies announce what Dell did today. The effect on Wall Street will be severe. As the stock market starts collapsing in April and if and when Dow closes below 10,000, individual shareholders will start suing the management of these corporations. That is when the corporate scandals of corporate accounting practices will start coming out.
