Indian politicians scared of escaping Foreign Direct Investments – Indian Prime Minister tells Mittal and Tata ‘focus on India and not abroad’
Harish Baliga
Mar. 26, 2007

Well India does it again. India has traditionally treated every Non Resident Indian (NRI) as cash cow. It is the saga of ‘milk the fat cow’. Now Indian politicians are eager to keep the foreign exchanges in the country to fuel their corruption and inefficiencies.

According to media reports, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today asked Indian steel tycoons eyeing global expansions not to overlook opportunities at home and assured all assistance to the industry in meeting the rising domestic demand.

"I want the Mittals and the Tatas and others who are eyeing global opportunities to also invest more at home. India is a land of opportunity. Don''t miss the moment," Singh said in his address at a steel summit.

"The growing self-confidence of our steel industry is demonstrated by the fact that Indian producers are now enlarging their global reach and presence," he said, adding "the government will do whatever is necessary to ensure that our industry is able to meet the growing steel demand."

The communists will go one step further. They would kill people like in China to gain the American dollars and Euros. That is exactly what happened in West Bengal.
