The two sectors that will prosper even with deflation and economic recession – biotech and aerospace
Peter Oberois
Feb. 18, 2007

The two sectors will prosper in the next twenty years, although the world economies will be busy fighting deflation and depression. The first one is Aerospace. We are not just talking about Boeing and Airbus. We are talking about industry that supports space technologies. The other one is of course biotechnologies.

The aerospace industry will boom. Boeing and Airbus may not be the right stocks. Look for American, Russian, Chinese, Indian, European, and Brazilian small companies making in roads into space technologies. These companies are less known today. But as space becomes the future of the human civilization and countries spend enormous amount of resource to militarize as well as explore space, these companies will prosper.

Genetic engineering will change three things that will change human civilization forever. First, the medical technologies will change. People will go many more years now, with new technologies. Second, the biotechnology will change the food technologies. Food processing, harvesting, and all related activities will change. And third, biotechnology will finally solve the energy crisis. Crude oil and natural gas will finally be produced through cultivation, undersea assets – the miracle of biotechnology will bring prosperity.
