Nepal sets goal to solve differences with the Maoist rebels
Nepal made it clear that it is willing to dump India, the elected politicians and let the Maoists come out and have unconditional dialog with the King and his representatives. They in recent days also signaled that they would equally associate with the Chinese as with India.
Nepal’ King took control of power with the help of loyal Royal Army of Nepal, house arrested the politicians and started a new bus service with Chinese controlled and occupies Tibetian city of Lhasa.
Nepal's new government is going to appoint a team of negotiators to offer unconditional peace talks with the rebels. Previous calls to resume peace talks abandoned in 2003 have been turned down by the rebels. Nepalese King Gyanendra replaced Nepal's previous government on Feb. 1 because it failed to effectively handle the country's Maoist uprising.
Nepal may also bring in UN peacekeepers to subdue the Maoists.
Nepal plans to provide last-ditch effort to solve the Maoist rebel problem through peaceful talks. They have mentioned that if talks go nowhere, an all out war will take place with full offensive of the Nepalese Army!
