Pakistan has a clandestine program of distributing the nuclear bomb to Saudis and other Islamic States. Pakistan may be put the blame to AQ Khan, father of Pakistani nukes and protecting him from the rest of the world to interrogate him.

Pakistani Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed rejected Feb. 7 a Time Magazine report alleging AQ Khan passed nuclear secrets to Saudi Arabia. Ahmed called the accusations "baseless" and "distorted," adding "there is nothing in [the case of] Saudi Arabia that may be attributed to Pakistan."

Time also reported that Khan's involvement with Iran and North Korea was much greater than previously thought. The United States has not been allowed to interrogate Khan but handed over a list of questions to Pakistan. Ahmed added that Khan "will not be handed over to anyone."
