Shipla Shetty keeps providing sexy matured sizzle in Bollywood.
Bollywood sensation Shilpa Shetty, has been crowned the "Diva of the Year" at a function organised by `Sahara One'''' channel. `Sahara One'''' has organised a contest inviting viewers to select "Diva of the Year" from a programme telecast by it on New Year eve.
Shilpa competed with several artists for the top slot including Priyanka Chopra, Yana Gupta, Meghna Naidu, who presented item numbers to show their talent. Shilpa was crowned at the function last night here.
The viewers were asked to vote for "Diva of the Year" through SMS. Shilpa polled as much as 60,000 votes to emerge the winner, a `Sahara One'''' official said. Addressing the gathering, Shilpa said, "it is heartening to know that people love my dance. I am known by my songs but with film like Phir Milenge, I have also proved my acting capabilities." "But if you ask me, Helen is the ultimate diva who carried her personality very well in all the songs picturised on her," she said.
On the occasion, Shilpa presented five television sets to viewers of the contest.
